These are pictures of just a few items we have made on our Brand New Sub-Surface Engraving machine.  These are not etched on the surface (front or back) of these glass pieces, but rather are INSIDE the glass.  One picture below (of the Airedale Terrier) illustrates this by showing a side view of the glass.

Many people ask, "How did you 'embed' the photograph?" or "How did you get the pieces of glass 'together' so cleanly (there is no seam)?"   The answer is: There is NO photograph 'embedded' in the glass, it is actually ENGRAVED inside the glass.  Also, this is a single piece of glass, not two halves 'glued' together.  This special laser machine has the ability to create images INSIDE the glass by defining the dimensions of the glass to the machine.  It uses a special diode laser and sets the focal point inside the glass and then pulses to create microscopic 'dots' that in turn, make up the image.  Pretty amazing huh?
